Public Campgrounds For those people planning to stay at the public campgrounds, you can fill out the Overnight Reservation Application. The form will be helpful to have even when making your reservations by telephone. To view photographs of the public camping areas, click here. All campgrounds have lakes or rivers for swimming or boating. Wharton State Forest areas are considered Wilderness campsites. Access to Lower Forge and Mullica River campsites by boating, hiking or horseback. No motor vehicles allowed.
